Meet our staff, members of the local community who make everything that happens possible.
Whitney was born and raised in Lebo, KS. She graduated in 2016 from Friends University with a B.S. in General Biology and went on to get her Associate in Applied Mortuary Science in 2017 from Kansas City Kansas Community College. While attending school, she worked as a student employee for Highland Park Funeral Home & Crematory in Kansas City, KS where she also served her Funeral Directors and Embalmers apprenticeship for the State of Kansas. After attaining her full licensure, she moved to a full time funeral director and embalmer through Highland Park where she had the privilege of individually serving around 130 families every year.
Whitney lives in Burlington, KS with her husband, son, and fur-baby, Ellie. She enjoys going on walks around her neighborhood and working on her various crafting projects.
Chino is a Licensed Therapy dog and a member of "Love On A Leash" and is available to offer comfort and support at visitations and services upon request. Jamie and Chino often receive invitations to visit local nursing facilities and area schools.
