Max "Maximus" Johnson

Max was born on October 2013. At 19 years old, I was not financially stable or responsible enough to become a dog owner, but Max joined my life at 8 weeks old.

As a puppy, Max was notorious for running away from me. One time after he bolted out the door, I ended up chasing him across ESU’s campus while barefoot and in my pajamas. I didn’t end up catching him, but he showed up on the front porch hours later.

Max loved being outside, swimming in ponds, dragging up large sticks to shred apart and finding something stinky to roll in. Max helped me grow up and become the person I am today. Max showed me nothing but unconditional love for the past 10 1/2 years. The house is too quiet without you here, but I know you are at peace. I hope you have endless treats up in heaven. Until I see you again..RIP my sweet Maximus.
